Science Center again!

It was Science center again. This time with yea yea, ma ma, and mui mui as well. Because it was the March break, there were a lot more shows and presentations. The all time favourites was still the grocery stores.

The last time we were here, it was almost impossible to get the trolley. So this time when mom saw one just sitting there, of course I snatched it right away for them. Even Naomi was shopping too!Bunch of kids worked together to create tornado.

One would think that Nathan is at the age that he's absorbing so much new knowledge that it's worth while to expose him to different things. As for Naomi, you would think that she won't understand much. But it's not true. For all these field trips that we went to, she actually enjoyed them alot.

Carmen & Alan's wedding

It was Ming uncle's daughter, Carmen's wedding. Coincidentally, her husband's name is also Alan. (I have a cousin named Alan who also married a Carmen la). You can see Naomi and Nathan had lots of fun playing with grandpa and other relatives. Another fun night for them, especially for Naomi, who not only got to play with chop sticks (which mommy strictly forbidden), but she also got to smack gu gu with it.

Little house police

Nathan is becoming this little house police. He is always watching out for Naomi, such as her putting things in her mouth, playing with toys that are not safe for her, or doing dangerous act. And this time, it was really serious, playing with the protective guard of an electrical outlet.






As you can see, Nathan is doing such a good job protecting Naomi, covering up the lower outlet. The reason for that is that outlet is actually covered up with those child proof outlet covered. We have actually forgotten to put the one on the upper outlet. The funny thing is, Nathan understands that kids should not be playing with the electrical plugs, but more importantly, it's more dangerous to play with the one that's not child proof, meaning not covered up. Little Henrick's month old party. He slept most of the time. What a good baby. Naomi loved looking at him. She kept on telling me to go back and see him again and again.

Playing with snow at home?

I promised to take Nathan outside to play with the snow one day after a snow storm. But after standing outside for 5 seconds, Nathan already had two 3 inches long icicles on his nose. And since he is a reasonable boy, he agreed to go home. So I asked him if he wanted to take some snow home to play with? And of course it was a great idea. So he had lots of fun, cooking with the snow. (pictures taken: 2009.1.20)

Valerie's birthday 2009

It was Valarie (aka 花豬)'s second birthday and we were invited to her Elmo's party. Her birthday party was at an indoor playground called "Jiggles and Wiggles". It was the first time that we were there. The place was very clean and tidy with lots of big structures.
