After dinner: building gundum

Nathan's job was to build while Naomi's job was to find the pieces and let Nathan cut. And of course, she was also responsible for feeding Nathan apples.

Character matters

Nathan has received this recognition of the character trait of "initiate". So I asked him what he needs to do to get this paper. He said "I just have to show lots of initiative. "

Further inquiry, he says he is helpful to other people without being asked to. Good job. Mommy very proud of you!

Nathan's spring concert

We didn't even know that he is playing the recorder. As you can see, one finger tight up to a sprint is not the best way to be playing the recorder.

Naomi's big girl room

Naomi's new desk required custom made boards plus improvisation. It also involves trigonometry and this is the first time that trig has real life application. Look how happy NN are.

And look Nathan has a new reading chair instead of his box!

Just because mommy is off and cleaning the house and seems rather leisure, why don't we watch tv and fall from the couch and bend all of our fingers impossibly backward. With the way he is crying, I believe he has some quite serious injuries. Couldn't risk not getting it check out because Nathan is not a cryer and for him to be still wailing after 10 minutes every times he tries to move, I need to confirm.

Yep. Minor fracture to his fourth finger. He will need to wear a sprint for 10 days and check up with a plastice clinic to make sure it heals properly. No Taekwondo for two weeks....
