Let's share

One of the biggest challenges for having 2 kids is to teach them how to share. For MOST of the time, they are pretty good. Before we go to bed, I always ask them what should we pray for. They common answers include great-grandma, mom, dad, Mia EE, grandpa, grandma, and one of the really important thing: NN not fight, and Naomi would say: "to share". They are so cute.


Of course sometimes they do fight, but most of the time they are soo sooo soooo sweet together. I always wonder how blessed we are that we have such wonderful kids. Praise the Lord.

Exercise while watching TV

Usually, kids become a couch potato when watching TV. Not this time. We were showing him those really old Mickey Mouse episodes with really great classical music. Nathan thinks they are the funniest.

NN together

NN are so great together. And Nathan is especially nice. Last night, Naomi was sitting on Nathan's feet. Nathan asked her gently, "Sister, how come you are sitting on my leg? It hurts." (Still gently) So Naomi shifted her body weight a little so that she can sit on him more. "Sister, it hurts la." (Still gentle, and smiley and polite.) So I picked up Naomi so that she is not sitting on his leg anymore. Wow was she ever mad. She said wailing loudly. But guess what Nathan said? He waved his hand casually at me and said "It's ok, it doesn't matter."

Mirror Mirror on the Wall

After being in this house for 5 months, we finally bought our full length mirror. Naomi is thrilled with this because she really cares about the way she looks. She started posing and turning in front of the mirror. Very funny. Who can imagine that I would have a daughter who loves pink glitter shoes.

Markham Fair 2009

It was a really cold and gray day. But we were still in great spirit. Nathan loves the giant machines. He got onto every single one of them. It was a fun day. And since it was a day pass, we were going to come back at 9:30 at night for some fireworks. But we were too tired that we didn't come back.

Spider web toy

Uncle Alan and Auntie Carmen got this spider spin the web toy for Nathan's birthday. He loves it. And we made it really clear that Nathan must not be shooting it at anyone, and that Naomi has to be behind him when he plays. And now Naomi becomes his ammo-picker-upper. When ever Nathan's done shooting the coins, he would say "go", and Naomi will pick them up for him.

First Markham Firework

For Mid autumn festival, First Markham place hosted a firework presentation. We got there 5 minutes before, found a spot to park, and sat at the back of our van and enjoyed the show.

Whittamore Farm

I know, I know. It's January, and I am posting pumpkin pictures. I haven't had time to look at pics for a long time, but we still want to share them.


It was a perfect day for pumpkin picking, sunny and warm. And I would recommend that place to any parents. There were corn maze, giant slide, great playground, duck race, pumpkin launching, wagon ride, and more.

What can make two kids cry so miserably?

1. Nathan really wants to play with his dad's optimus prime toy since he doesn't have one, but dad has to go to work so he had to wait.

2. Nathan wants to watch transformer movie, but mommy said she he's not allow to watch it cuz' it's too violent

3. Nathan wants to watch TV but he had to finish his food first.

4. Naomi is not allow to eat her bread until she finishes her milk.

5. Mom filming crying kids instead of comforting them.

Naomi is now singing all the time

Can you make out what she is singing the first time? Naomi is now always singing, half of the time I couldn't really figure out what she is singing. But extremely cute.


And don't ask me why Nathan was so serious. He was laughing two seconds ago.

Party at Uncle Ka

We went over to Uncle Ka and Auntie Corrie's house for a New Year Party. It was very fun. Nathan had a blast playing with Jordan, Tyler, Emma and Jack Jack. Naomi met her new best friend Evie. They played so well together.

And when we got home, Naomi kept saying "I miss Evie, I miss Evie"
