The cricket

Outside NN's window, you can clearly hear the sound of the cricket.  So then we were having some discussion about how cricket makes the sound by rubbing his hind legs together, causing sound. 

Then Nathan said,  cricket makes that sound to meet girl friends.

Ok..... mommy wasn't sure what to say, then Nathan said:

At every summer camp, except the Science Discovery one, I have a girl friend..... Good boy :)

Nathan was reading for Naomi for bedtime  story and they both seem to enjoy it!  So cute!

What a nice break from my school work

It is so nice to have little miss sunshine to come in and interrupt me from my studying! (as long as it doesn't happen too too frequently!)

Nathan's Sunday

We bought him a great book of star wars that have 3 paper models the he can build. This is his first finished product: Clone'a mask. There is another R2-D2 and AT-TE walker. They are pretty complicated but Nathan loves building them. He is so patience.

Excise the blue sparkle heart. He found that on the ground from Sunday school but he is obsessed with it. He almost cried when he left it in the restaurant. (He went back and found it ;).

For those of you who are technologically inclined. Are you aware of the latest invention? Look at these two kids getting all excited to lay their hands on one of them. And yes, NN are learning their multiplication tables.

Bye bye tooth

My baby has finally lost his first baby tooth. I don't know how I feel about it. I know he is super super happy to this long waited milestone. But to me, his first baby tooth, this same one that he lost today, emerged when he was six months old, and it felt like just yesterday. Time just goes by painfully fast.

I guess the positive of today's dental check up was the bonus of them polishing my teeth and clear up the tea stains due to the addiction of extra large steep tea double double.

Dentist visit: Naomi

Naomi once again did so well at the dentist office. She cooperated so well, and somehow, way too happy for someone visiting the dentist.

 

 

Naomi first swimming classes

Here's some background. Naomi has never been comfortable with water since day 1. And who knows that after 3 classes, this is what she is capable of. Wow!  Naomi can't take all the credit thou, since she has an amazing teacher. Email me if you want to find out who the teacher is.
