Naomi really likes using soft pastels to blend the colour together, especially using her fingers!  A very super messy art, but very fun. 

Watercolor obsession

Now that I have my own station setup down in the basement, I can go down every night for a while and not have to worry about cleaning up and putting things away. This makes it so much easier to keep working away. 

Getting ready for Valentine

For the first time I find learning something new this complicated.  The concept of colour is now all different since you don't really add these colours together and mixed them up, or they become muddy.  I am currently experimenting with the colour chart of this new water colour set that I bought (it's so nice, it's a Winsor and Newton which comes with a little brush that is already filled with water.  Remind me of the aquadoodle set that Nathan used to have) to hopefully have a cheat sheet of what add what gives this shade of colour..... still highly variable with how much water you put in.
