As far as the silliness goes

Since Naomi was up since 4 am this morning (due to nightmare), after a full day of school plus funtastic nite at church, she was done. In the car ride home, she went full force wanting to take Nathan's glow stick and was so so mad that she was so close to have her melt down. Luckily we were able to avoid. And to the other end of the spectrum, she became so hyper during teeth brushing that she started singing and dancing. And as always, Nathan was super high too!

Four digits adding

As all parents of those who go to montessori who boost about their academic progress, Naomi is doing 4 digits adding at 4 years old. Don't let this scare you thou. The concepts is so simple and straight forward that it really make sense.

The kids are giving physical thousands, hundreds, tens and ones beads (colour-coded) and they are physically manipulating these beads to figure out how many thousands, hundreds, tens, and ones there are. Love hands-on learning!!!
