We miss u Minnnie

We were driving home one day, and Nathan all of a sudden said he really misses "Lindsay 姐姐". We didn't think it was a big deal because Lindsay is an older girl at her school that he's really close to. But then he said, "No, 我好掛住Minnie 姐姐 ." So we told him that we would tape he so that Minnie 姐姐 can see it.

One would think that when mom is on summer vacation, she would have more time to update their photos and video. But unfortunately, I'm so busy with the new house that I have no time to blog! It feel so odds. Everyday since last September, I have been updating every single day (except once) ...... I will still try to update as much as possible :)

Nathan new baseball glove

哥哥湯丸篇

For the longest time, Nathan has wanted to know what a 湯丸 is. So yea yea has decided to let Nathan makes his own 湯丸. (I think it's called sweet dumpling)

表情多多

Naomi is quite a dramatic baby. She has so much facial expressions, with extremely loud voices. Ever since she was little, she already knows how to pretend. One time she sounded like she was in distress and we rushed over to see her. She had her little finger stuck in a small hole in the playpen and she looked so frightened. But in real, she just sounded like she was stuck.

Now she is really good on 學是非. When she wants to do something that she's not suppose to, of course she is told by grandma or dad to not do it. "妺妺唔攪得ga!" Then she would run towards me, pointing to the place where it happened, looking really unpleased. (See bottom picture) Then she would repeatedly say: "攪攪,攪攪,攪攪...."

Face painting

We went to a circus festival at down town last month. (Sorry, I couldn't keep up with the blogging.) Nathan had his face painted. That lady did such a good job. It was the prettiest face painting I've ever seen. (It even have glitter!) Nathan was so good the whole time. He sat very still and listened really well. He totally loved his blue butterfly on his face. But he had a little melt down that afternoon cuz the face painting got smudged when he nap.

Evie bday 09

We had a wonderful birthday party for little Evie. It was full of fun and love. Love for food, love for drink, love for little Evie (tones of it), and love for photos (Uncle Ka, Auntie Cowee, little Tyler).

Strawberry Festival

To be honest, the strawberry festival was not very suitable for kids. They have alot of vendors selling stuffs. I guess it would have been better if we were there for the parade and stuffs. Good there it has some fun fair rides for Nathan.

And of course our important super nanny Uncle Alex and Duck Duck EE. They actually said they would come to Disneyland with us and be our nanny.

Yawn

Following is a conversation on the ride to school this morning

Nat: I am tired
Dad: Take a nap and I will wake you up when we get to school.
Nat: yawn.....
Nat: I just release a lot of mosquito (for non-cantonese speaking friends: releasing mosquito is a slang for yawning)
Dad: You want me to catch them back for you?
Nat: No.. if they are back inside, I will have to release them again.
Dad: .... true ...

Strawberry Picking

It was such a beautiful day for outdoor activities. Victor is such a good daddy. Originally, he could have joined a soccer league which would have occupied his Saturday mornings. But he really want to take the kids out to expose to different experiences which he gave up his only chance of exercising. Thanks daddy!

Wagon ride was really fun for Nathan.

Both NN helped a little bit for the picking part. Naomi's job was to step on / sit on strawberries while Nathan job was to transport strawberries into the big bucket.

Nathan met a little friend there and they had all the space to run around. Watch out! Don't step on the strawberry la! (Bottom right: Naomi pants after sitting down a few times)

The strawberries were so so sweet. I brought some water to wash them so that we can eat them right there. Nao ate about half a gallon of them. She just stood there and ate ate ate. Very typical of Naomi.
