Toys story 3

We were going to go strawberry picking this weekend. But since it was pouring rain, we decided to go watch movie instead. It was the first time for NN to watch movie in a theater. When we walked into the cinema, Nathan was so excited that she told Naomi that there will be "buzz lightyear that will be this ---------- tall." I think what Nathan meant to say was the big big TV. But Naomi interpret it as a real buzz lightyear that will be this--------------- tall. So Naomi said she is so afraid that she is not going in. Thanks to M&M, apple juice, and fish cracker, Naomi sailed through almost the entire movie. They actually enjoyed it very very much.

One happy child

Nathan is a very happy child. He is always enjoying everything that he is doing and he always tries his best to enjoy life.

Church Carnival day

Our church hosted a children carnival that a lot of uncles and aunties worked together and set up lots of game booths and contests for children to play. It was such a wonderful day. Daddy actually made lots of balloon animals that he learned via youtube.

Nathan was so good in playing the games. He always tries his best and he is very smart in learning how to play well. Good boy Nathan.

One of the weirdest thing was the face painting. For as much as Nathan likes to move around, he can actually sit really still for quite a long period of time to get his face painted. His only problem is when his face gets itchy after a while, he would start rubbing his face with his sleeve, smudging everything. A real "flower face cat"

Yummy pancake

Daddy found a blog online about how this dad makes all these really cool pancakes of different shapes, so we thought we would tried. So mommy make this "Optimus Prime" that Nathan cheered and excitedly said: "Ginger bread man!". I guess as long as they are happy.....

A visit with the chicks

We went to our friend's farm and visited some new born chicks. Nathan had a lot of fun looking at the farm animals. (But not Naomi cuz she's not very comfortable with animals that move).

Today is Nathan's final lesson for hockey. He actually had a great day cuz they let dad in there playing with them together.

Happy Father's day

Nathan and Naomi made a very pretty pictures for the best daddy for Father's day using play doe. (Pictures to follow). Happy father's day for grandpa gu gu, grandpa yea yea as well.

Don't you mess with me

Yesterday after dinner, Nathan and Naomi was playing with Mega block, and Nathan built this really tall tower that he was very proud of. He wanted me to take a picture of it. But before we got a chance to take picture, of course, Naomi very very quickly tumble it down. Nathan was furious and kept nagging Naomi about how she shouldn't be breaking other people's work and stuff......and Naomi just ignored him and kept playing with her cash register.

Nathan just kept on and on and on and on and on.....

Finally, Naomi stood up, finally getting mad.......and........took a big bite on Nathan's lip. Nathan's lip went totally swollen, like a wiener. It's almost like her way of saying, "Are you done yet! Shut up."

This morning, Nathan woke up with a bruised lip. Poor kid.

Naomi has never been really good at being told "no". This is what she looks like when daddy tries to tell her to not do something.

Flying snake

During March break camp, Nathan learned from the clown there that it's lots of fun to inflate a balloon and then let go to make a "flying snake". They both seems to enjoyed it very very much.

Strong guy Nathan

Nathan always boast about himself.

e.g. I have really good eyes like the transformer. I can see something that is really really far away.
I am much taller.
I have really strong arms. (Imagine, Nathan flexing his muscles like Uncle Alex)
I have really good skin (cuz he recovered from his Eczema outbreak)

Nathan is really bouncy. Always running and jumping (except when he's in a hockey game and he just cruise around slowly, or stand at the side.) I think he was trying to jump up the tree.

Another transformer dance
