I miss you so bed
These were taken when Uncle Kerwin came and visited us in May. We had to take out the guest bed for Uncle Kerwin, and boy, was Nathan ever happy. He started rolling around the bed so much, and would sometimes hid under the sheet.
(For those who don't know, we used to have a mattress in our family room when Nathan was young. But because we have been trying to sell our house, we have to move it to storage. When we first removed it, Nathan cried so sadly. You should see the smile in his face when we moved the mattress out again. It was priceless)

The balloon butterfly
We went to Boston Pizza the other day with Nathan and Naomi, and boy, do they have tricks to keep the little folks happy. There were a girl who make balloons for the kids. Naomi got a butterfly and Nathan got a tiger. There were paper doll who can make pizza, crayons, fire chief hats, plastic cups, etc.

Our reading clubs
Both of our kids love to read. Nathan are interested in a vast variety of topics. Lucky for us, we live across from the library that we can conveniently borrow books. And Naomi is now starting to get us to read for her. She would grab a book, walk towards you, and would sit on your lap and make you read for her.
We have this book called 快樂樹，talking about how human can destroy a tree that is a community for lots of animals and insects. There was this last part where the tree was saved and finally 芽苞started growing. This tree we have down stair was blossoming so Victor took Nathan down to take pictures.

Naomi Brush Teeth Part II
Only a few days apart, Naomi can now spit out the water. And she would show off her new skill and ask you to cheer along. (Hee hee, I made a mistake of pouring too much water. Apparently she wouldn't stop until she spits out the whole cup of water.

Lunar eclipse
This video was taken way back before Naomi was borned. It's funny watching how much Nathan has changed, with the way he looks and the way he talks.
That day was a lunar eclipse, and in chinese, it's called "moon eaten". When we first told Nathan about it, he got all worried that the Earth has eaten the moon. He quickly said that he had to ask Doramon to see if he knows how to save the moon. He was soooooo cute. Grandpa then used 2 cups to explain to him how it was because the earth like blocked the moon so we couldn't see it.
So then he tried to explained to us. He would be like, "it turns and turns. Do you understand?"

向上刷向下刷
I thought that it is about time for Naomi to try brushing her teeth. (She has been brushing her teeth, but not with the spitting of water part). So this morning, we let her tried. It was the funniest thing because she kept on drinking the water.
The weird thing is she has been watching Nathan brushing his teeth for the longest time, and she makes a "spit" sound every time she watches. So I thought she should at least have the slightest idea of what to do. Oblivious for sure. I guess that could be something that we can take advantage of cuz she's such a bad drinker that at least she can get a few more sip of water in her tummy.

NN wagon
We bought this Fisher Price Duel Utility Vehicle for Nathan and Naomi the other day.
For the longest time we wanted to buy something similar and this was on sales, so we bought one for them for outing (i.e. Farm, Zoo, or like last Sunday, to the 1000 taste of Toronto). After Victor assemble it, both of them wanted to get onto it, and of course funny things happened.

妹妹好叻! Part II
Continuing with the potty story. Naomi is getting better and better in telling us when she needs to use the potty. (Of course there will be time that she said emm emm, but by the time we get her to the potty, she would have peed already.) This morning she was able to stay totally dry. I think she is starting to be able to control her muscle to hold.
She is the cutest pee-er and poo-er. She would clap and cheer when she pee in the potty. And when she is done, she will tell you to get toilet paper to wipe her clean. Then she would stand up, and admire her pee / poo with a big smile and sometimes "wow-----", almost like commenting herself, "job well done". Good job, Naomi.

Naomi's first Time-out
Nathan and Naomi was playing together, and Nathan decided to build a tower with his milk bottle bowling pins. And of course, Naomi decided to knock them all down. Nathan became possessive of the toys and started protecting them like he was hatching some eggs. Anyway, Naomi started hitting Nathan's head. Nathan got really angry and said: "妹妹! 你打人唔乖呀! 你去罰企呀." (Naomi, you are being bad hitting others. Go to time out.)
The funny thing was Naomi had never been to 罰企 yet. But she actually understood what Nathan was talking about, and actually walked over by the fireplace and stood there like she was really being 罰企. So funny. Her facial expression was really serious like she was really afraid. She waited 'til papa came over and told her to give Nathan a kiss and hug for sorry before she left the spot.

Ever since little, Naomi has this habbit of singing herself to sleep. For the longest time we were not able to capture it. Finally, we got it!

福錄壽？
Nathan walked passed Grandpa's 福錄壽 one day and all of a sudden scream and said, "媽咪！呢個係摩西呀！" (Mom! This is Moses) 笑死我。
妹妹好叻!
Naomi can now tell us if she wants to use the potty. She will say "疴吳" and make some pooing face with sound "emmmmmmmmmmm" like she is working really hard. Very dramatic, but funny.

Show time: O Canada
This was actually the first song, and he was actually singing a little bit :)
Overall, we were really proud of Nathan. Victor and I had a conversation. We discussed about the fact that is it ok for him to not like to perform? (He actually told his grandma numerous times that he didn't want to perform.) We thought, that's totally ok. We think he did a great job. Good Job Nathan!

Nathan's plant
Nathan took home this plant that he grew at school. Everybody's plants turned out nice and health except for his. Don't get mistaken, the first picture where the leaves are nice and strong was actually planted after he got home.
See the plant in the box below? This was the actually weed that came home with Nathan and he actually thought that it was the one he planted. We have been watering it everyday to keep it alive.

Remember how I said Nathan performed at Milikan High school on Friday night. It was a great night because all the kids dressed up really nicely, sang and danced. I am sure you will enjoy it.
