March Break Camp

During March Break, we registered Nathan for a camp. The camp was great. There is different theme for each day.

This day is a circus day. They hired a clown and made all these festive balloons for the kids. Can you tell what the balloon hat is? Apparently it is a dinosaur?!?

Then for St. Patrick's day, the camp hired a face painter. And Nathan was a spiderman. He loved loved loved loved loved the face painting.
We went picnic at two good pond. "Spidey, spiderman...." lots of remarks about his face painting, making him feeling awesome about the face. You should see his face, like he is the most good looking person on the planet. So cute.

Optimus Prime at our house

Gu gu bought this Optimus Prime helmet for Nathan a while ago. But because of Gu gu spending/shopping habit, I have made it really clear for Nathan that he is only allow to buy toys for his birthday or for christmas because grandpa needs the money to buy food. But ever since his last birthday/christmas, Nathan has been receiving so much presents, that he wants to have more and more. So it has been difficult to change his mind set about wanting new stuffs. That really encourages grandpa gu gu. Gu gu just couldn't resist to buy things for Nathan.....so this one we made it so that Nathan would open it for Naomi's birthday. (Just to justify the point of "we don't buy things all the time")

Transformer Chess Set

Carmen came by this Transformer Chess set on sale and got it for Nathan. The box marked age 9+. But since Nathan loves transformer, so we bought it thinking it's going to be fun for him whether he understand how to play or not.




We told him the chess is like the Autobots and Decepticons fighting on the battle field and he can fight with them. He got really excited having lots of fun with it. At first I would think a 4 year old won't like his pieces got taken or losing a game, but he is enjoying all parts of it and has already learned all the pieces. All thanks to the power of Transformers :)
