Wings and wheels show

We went to the wings and wheels show at Downsview today. The weather was perfect. Sunny but with a nice nice breeze. Since Nathan really likes airplane, he chose to go to this show to see airplanes and different cars instead of going to the beach.

And just like always, when we take them to someplace "special", ended up the funnest moment happened with things that they can be doing anywhere else instead of the 1/2 hour drive. (i.e. blowing bubbles).

NN milkshake

Auntie Duck Duck bought some milkshake (I assumed it was for herself), but Naomi probably drank more than 3/4 of the shake. Yum yum!

Uncle Alex

Went to the park with Uncle Alex and Duck Duck EE the other day and NN had so much fun. (Of course Uncle Alex bought Nathan another transformer......, bad uncle alex!! Don't you dare blame it on Nathan!!)

When NN are with them, they tend to break every single rule that mommy has: i.e. playing while crossing the street, hitting other people (while crossing the street!),

or sticking your bum in the air and sticking your head in your brother legs.....on the street!

The wonders of crack and glow stick

Since mommy knew that we will be going to the fireworks, instead of being ripe off by those people who sell those glow in the dark toys at the location, mommy went to the dollar store and bought some ahead of time. NN had the bestest time with the glow sticks. (Especially when Naomi was so afraid of the fireworks the she started cheering when the firework show was over, happily).

Making music

NN went to the beach on Sunday after church with some church buddies. Then we went watch the fireworks at night.

Nathan picked up some rocks from the beach, and on the car ride home, Naomi suggested "let's make some music with the rocks.

A nice summer day

Today we spent some great time outside of front yard planting and seeding our grass. NN were such great help. Naomi especially enjoy the Popsicle during "break time". Nathan were such a great worker. Very very hard working. And because it was such a hot summer day, daddy let them run under the mist. Very very fun.

Happy Mothers' day

I had such a wonderful time for Mothers' day. The kids (and of course Daddy) made waffles for breakfast. They were so so yummy. (As you can see, NN ate most of them). Then daddy took us all out for Japanese Buffet with my mom, his mom, me, and god mother Janice. I was so loved by everyone. Daddy even got use this wonderful chocolate cake. (Guess who enjoyed the cake the most?). I really really enjoyed my mothers' day. Thanks daddy and NN.

NN new haircut

Nathan and Naomi went for their haircut at a real hairdresser. (Not at home by mommy hairdresser). This is actually the first time that Naomi got haircut by other people. And thanks to Grandma's smartness and bought a huge bag of chocolate pokey, Naomi sat there quietly and kept saying "more, more" the whole time, but keeping her head very very still. (I will post the video later when I find my USB cable).

You like them?

Yummy whip cream

Uncle Alex and Duck Duck EE brought over some whip cream for waffle. NN loved them. Now whip cream becomes a must have in the house anytime they want breakfast with waffle or pancake.

Nao eating noodle

Yep! Another eating video. It is still fascinating watching her eat. But to be honest, she doesn't quite eat as much as she used to be. And she is picky on what she eats. Must be full of flavour.

Nat playing violin

We always make fun of Nathan that he looks like he is cutting his neck when he pretends to be playing with the violin. And this video was taken after his operation when he just started to speak again but I wasn't able to get him to talk.

10k Challenge

Uncle Alex finished the annually 10k Challenge today and we waited for him at the finishing line. Alex has been practicing and we are all happy he finished the challenge and broke his personal record. :)

As usual Naomi had a fest while we waited and Nathan was running around. Uncle Alex know them so well and grabbed Juice, Gatorade and Banana for them after the race (which were suppose to be supplies for the runners

Nathan's first hockey lesson

Nathan started his first floor hockey lesson today. Very funny. The challenge that we had was to get him to put on a new helmet that has a mask (mandatory). He said that the plastic mask was stinky. Luckily, when we got there and all the children was wearing the helmet, he became fine with it. Second challenge was Naomi. She really really wanted to play as well. Good thing was that she was allowed to go in at the beginning to play a little bit. Then we went to McDonald for breakfast while Nathan was play.

I was trying to take some videos for Nathan. (Kid in green and white strips.) Unfortunately, every time when he noticed me, he would be totally distracted, (especially distracted by the fact that we have a helium balloon tied to Naomi's stroller). See how he totally missed that his partner passed the ball to him. Then the other team's ball went by Nathan and Nathan started battling the ball with him. Funny.

See Nathan trying to control the ball. Pretty good for the first time.

There were already some hockey dad that kept screaming from the sideline.....while they were learning. Maybe I should practice on being a hockey mom because Nathan is so laid back and and non-aggressive. (2010.5.1)

Transformers, Roll Out!!

Since Everyone know Nathan loves transformer, he has been receiving quite a few of them from birthday and Christmas. His collection exploded to a total of 22 after his surgery.

Here is a picture of Nathan in his vehicle form with his collection
